Annual Day In The Park

The 2020 Day in the Park event has been cancelled.
A message from the Arts League:
Although it is a heartbreaking decision to make, the board and members of Laurel Arts League believe that it is in the best interest of our community, organization, and it’s members to cancel our plans for a May 2, 2020 Day in the Park. This event usually brings large crowds to Mason Park every year, and although the event is over a month and a half away we do not know how to move forward without the certainty for our vendors and partners that the COVID-19 situation will not change or become worse in the coming weeks. Since groups are meant to be limited to no more than 10, for your safety, we cannot plan to host an event that usually brings great crowds together.
We are so sorry to the Laurel and Jones County community as it is something the children, families, and artists and of course, our members look forward to every year. We will work to ensure that 2021’s event will be the biggest and best ever.
Arts & Crafts, Food, Live Entertainment, 5K Run and Much More!

The 5K Run will start at 8:00 am, followed by a one-mile fun run.
