Celebrate Seniors Parade

Older Americans Month is an annual event dating back to 1963 when President John F. Kennedy designated May as Senior Citizens Month. It was later renamed Older Americans Month, honoring older Americans and celebrating their contributions to our communities and our nation.

This year's theme is "Communities of Strength".

DJ Transit, INC is honored to serve as the community coordinator of the 2021 Celebrate Seniors Parade to be held on West Drive on May 7, 2021 at 2 PM.  

Line up is at 1:30 PM at the Youth Ballparks located at 1315 West Dr., Laurel. 

Community leaders, professionals, family, and friends will pay tribute by decorating their cars and being a part of this joyful parade that will honor seniors and the nursing home staff that serve them.
