Pop-Up Book Fair

FRIENDS OF THE LAUREL-JONES COUNTY LIBRARY TO HOST 2ND ANNUAL POPUP BOOK FAIR
 
The Friends of the Laurel-Jones County Library are excited to announce the return of the 2nd Annual Popup Book Fair at the Sawmill Square Mall in Laurel, MS. This much-anticipated event will take place from April 7-12, 2025, with extended hours to accommodate book lovers of all ages.
The Popup Book Fair will be open Monday-Thursday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Friday-Saturday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. This community-centered event features a wide range of activities and offerings, including:
•               Used Book Shop: Visitors can browse an extensive selection of gently used books for all ages and interests, with prices starting as low as $1.
•               Book-Themed Items for Sale: Find unique gifts, collectibles, and accessories inspired by books and reading.
•               Kids Area: Children will enjoy a fun, interactive space with coloring and other creative activities.
•               Community Book Club: Engage with fellow book lovers in a relaxed and welcoming environment while discussing literary favorites on April 10, 2025, from 12 -1 p.m.
 
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Laurel-Jones County Library System, supporting its mission to provide valuable resources and programming to the community. By attending the Popup Book Fair, patrons will directly contribute to the continued growth and success of the local library system.

The Friends of the Laurel - Jones County Library System is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting our libraries through volunteerism and philanthropic endeavors. Support is provided to the library system by furnishing volunteers, needed materials and equipment. The Friends also provide financial support that allows for more programming, additional books and needed materials.
