On this Veterans Day, and every day, we salute all those who served, those who are serving — and to the loved ones who carry the weight of their absence – those who wait, worry, and welcome them home.
November 1918.
At the 11th hour… on the 11th day… of the 11th month…
The guns fell silent.
And the world took a breath — as the Great War came to an end.
That moment would echo through generations…
A solemn anniversary, reborn as Veterans Day —
A time to honor those who served in that war, and every war since.
A time to remember the courage, the sacrifice…
And the enduring cost of freedom.
